Peer Mentor Program

The Disability Center’s Peer Mentor Program pairs incoming and current students, empowering them by connecting them with resources, services and a supportive community. Mentees gain access to Mizzou’s supportive disabled community through workshops, networking opportunities and meetings with mentors.

RSVP Peer Educators

Peer Educators educate themselves and others about intimate partner violence, sexual violence, identity trauma and various forms of discrimination. Peer Educators create a more inclusive and supportive environment on campus by raising awareness about these important topics.

Well-Being Peers

Well-being peers work to create a campus culture where students can achieve balanced well-being. Through training, they learn how to provide student-centered, inclusive outreach, education, and advocacy on a variety of topics, including: alcohol and substance use, body image, healthy relationships, mental health and sexual health.

Peer Learning Advisors (PLAs)

Become a mentor to incoming freshmen by helping them navigate their majors, and by helping them forge bonds that last a lifetime. Serving as a PLA offers an excellent way to build your resume, expand your professional network, earn college credit and a leadership credential through the Novak leadership Institute.

Join a student organization that builds community and promotes knowledge of academic resources for incoming transfer students. This network assists students’ growth through mentorship by other transfer students during weekly meetings and events.
