Celebrating Service

Building a Culture of Service at Mizzou

At Mizzou, service is part of who we are. To better recognize and reward our students’ commitment to volunteering, we’ve established a system for tracking verified service hours. Through this process, students can log their hours accurately, access new opportunities and earn recognition for their dedication to our campus and community.

How It Works

Track your service. Earn rewards. Students who complete verified service hours are eligible for special honors at commencement, including a recognition medallion.

Verified Hours Requirements (based on initial enrollment year):

  • Five Year Student | 500 verified hours
  • Four Year Student | 400 verified hours
  • Three Year Student | 300 verified hours
  • Two Year Student | 200 verified hours
    • Lapel Pin – 150 verified hours
  • One Year Student | 100 verified hours
    • Lapel Pin – 75 verified hours

Transfer, graduate and professional students will have hour requirements adjusted based on enrollment status or length of degree program. If a student graduates early, hour requirements will be prorated.
