Mizzou Leadership Institute (MLI)
Understand how to amplify your leadership experiences and skills through featured speakers, engaging activities, reflections, and educational sessions. Every spring, student leaders of every stage in their Mizzou journey can reflect on their values, strengths, and goals for Mizzou and in their professional careers.
Involvement Ambassadors
Involvement Ambassador are experienced students who enjoy sharing what they have learned at Mizzou so they can help peers on their involvement journey. If you’re involved on campus and want to help other Tigers make connections, consider becoming an Involvement Ambassador.
Welcome Week Leaders
Welcome Week Leaders are energetic Tigers who lead assigned groups of incoming students through Welcome Week each August. Welcome Week is students’ gateway to campus involvement, from connections with professional staff to a potential future as an Involvement Ambassador. Ready? Applications open in the spring semester.
Summer Welcome Leaders
Serving as a Summer Welcome Leader gives you the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, mentor incoming students, and share your Mizzou spirit, all while building new friendships that will last a lifetime. Applications open in the fall semester every year.
Resident Advisors (RAs)
As an RA, you’d work closely with Housing leadership and lead fellow residents by creating a strong sense of belonging, a welcoming community, and a culture of success. In addition, you will help plan activities that drive student engagement on campus. Applications open in the fall semester every year.
Disability Center Peer Mentor Program
Mentors serve as role models, helping mentees navigate the transition to Mizzou and build a sense of belonging on campus. By becoming a mentor, Disability Center students can become a leader in Mizzou’s disabled community, while building personal and professional relationships alongside their peers. Mizzou Student Media
Three student-led media outlets are available and offer hands-on experience in a supportive learning enviornment. From news to sports writing, you can find an opportunity to get involved with content creation on campus.
