Whether you’re publicizing a specific event or just seeking new members, marketing your organization is crucial for success. The following resources may help you.
Engage Calendar
Engage features a Community Calendar, where some events can be shared with all users. If you’re having a large-scale event or one that is open to the whole campus, we can show it on the calendar. Simply create the event in Engage. We will review these requests, and if it meets the guidelines it will be shared with everyone!
Operations & Events Requests
If your group is eligible for ORG funding, you can use Operations and Events funds to help market your organization or you can use event services funding to advertise your ORG funded events. We offer funding for the following resources:
- Mizzou Student Media Advertising: Complete the Mizzou Student Media Advertising form to request any of the services listed below:
- Maneater Ads (Print or Digital)
- KCOU Ads
- MUTV Ads
- Copies: Groups can apply for copy funding that can be used to create flyers, meeting agendas, etc. Fill out this form if you’re approved for Printing Services Funding!
Get Involved Fair

The Student Affairs Marketing and Communications team provides a variety of services to clients including student organizations recognized by the Organization Resource Group (ORG). These services include:
- Creative services and production: Identity design (colors, mark, etc.)
- Training and consultation: Marketing and communications topics, such as social media and following brand guidelines
Requests
Requests for services provided by the Student Affairs Marketing and Communications team can be made by completing the Student Affairs Marketing Request Form.
If you’re hosting a major event or your group wins a large competition, you should consider sending a press release to the local media. If they think it’s newsworthy, you might just get featured!
