Our trips are categorized into 16 focuses, each targeting specific community issues. While each trip has a primary focus, we emphasize intersectionality, recognizing that community issues are interconnected. Understanding these multiple influences is crucial for effective service delivery, as we strive to address complex realities beyond singular issues.

Fundraising helps keep the cost of trips low and accessible to all students.

  1. Visit the Mizzou Alternative Break Gift Fund page.
  2. Enter your desired donation amount under Gift Amount.
  3. Provide the following information in the comments section:
    • Your name
    • Student’s name who you are donating to
    • Student’s trip they are going on
      • Example: “Uncle David R. Francis donating to Truman Tiger for Habitat New Orleans Spring 2018”
  4. Click “Add to Basket” and follow the prompts.
