Awarded to a student-driven program that took place during the 2025–2026 academic year. The program, established within the last two years (on or after July 2024), reflects alignment with the hosting group’s mission and demonstrates significant campus or community involvement. This award highlights programs that effectively utilized resources (people, time, funds, materials, etc.) in their development and implementation, achieved broad publicity, and were primarily produced and executed by students.
Educational Program of the Year
Awarded to a student-driven program held during the 2025–2026 academic year that focuses on enhancing knowledge in a specific discipline or topic. The program encouraged meaningful dialogue, fostered learning among attendees, and contributed to the academic growth of the campus or community. This award celebrates programs that effectively utilized resources (people, time, funds, materials, etc.) in their development and implementation, were widely publicized, and were primarily produced and executed by students
Health & Wellness Program of the Year
Awarded to a student-driven program or initiative held during the 2025–2026 academic year that intentionally supported the holistic well-being of students or the broader campus community. This award honors programs that promote healthy habits, encourage self-care, reduce stigma, foster connection, or create spaces that support individuals’ overall wellness. This award celebrates initiatives that were primarily designed and implemented by students, thoughtfully utilizing available resources (people, time, funds, materials, etc.), and were accessible, contributing positively to the well-being and quality of life within the campus or community.
Service Program of the Year
Awarded to a student-driven program held during the 2025–2026 academic year that exemplified a commitment to community service and civic engagement. This award honors programs dedicated to serving others, raising awareness about issues affecting different community populations, and providing students with meaningful opportunities to understand and impact the lives of others positively. The program should demonstrate effective use of resources (people, time, funds, materials, creativity, etc.), broad publicity, and strong student involvement in its development and execution.
Community Building Program of the Year
Awarded to a student-driven program held during the 2025-2026 academic year that fostered a sense of unity and connection among diverse student populations. This award celebrates programs that emphasized the importance of shared community, brought together different groups in unique and meaningful ways, and positively contributed to the Mizzou community. Programs should demonstrate effective use of resources (people, time, funds, materials, creativity, etc.), broad publicity efforts, and significant student involvement in their development and execution.
Service/Volunteer Program of the Year
Award given to a student-driven service/volunteer program that has been held in the past academic year (2023-2024). The program was dedicated to promoting service for others; promoted awareness of different issues/circumstances affecting different community populations; and provided opportunities for students to learn about their impacts on others.
Collaborative Program of the Year
Awarded to a student-driven program held during the 2025–2026 academic year that exemplified exceptional teamwork and partnership between two or more student organizations or programs. This award celebrates programs that fostered connections among students, contributed positively to the Mizzou community, and demonstrated effective collaboration in planning and execution. Programs should showcase innovative use of resources (people, time, funds, materials, creativity, etc.), broad publicity efforts, and significant student involvement in their development and implementation.
Social/Entertainment Program of the Year
Awarded to a student-driven program held during the 2025–2026 academic year that provided a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for attendees. This award highlights programs that fostered connections among students, contributed positively to the Mizzou community, and showcased effective planning and creativity. Programs should demonstrate thoughtful use of resources (people, time, funds, materials, creativity, etc.), broad publicity efforts, and significant student leadership in their development and execution.
