How to Apply

Follow the steps below to apply to awards:

1. Get to know the awards by reading the short descriptions for each award below.

2. Once you locate an award you would like to complete a nomination for, find the full description, required questions and more on the nomination form.

3. Complete the nomination form. One nomination per form.

Programming Award Descriptions

Outstanding Academic/Educational Program of the Year: Award given to a program focused on a specific discipline or topic to further knowledge in that area; and encouraged dialogue and learning among attendees. Student audience programs only.
Outstanding Collaboration Program of the Year: Award recognizes a collaboration program that has been held in the past academic year (2023-2024). Eligible programs should have been hosted by two or more student organizations/programs.
Outstanding Community Building Program of the Year: Award recognizes a community building program that has been held in the past academic year (2023-2024).
Outstanding Inclusivity Program of the Year: Recognizes a student-driven inclusivity program that has been held in the past academic year (2023-2024).
Outstanding New Program of the Year: Award given to a student-driven program that has been held in the past academic year (2023-2024). Program must have been established for less than two years.
Outstanding Service/Volunteer Program of the Year: Award given to a student-driven service/volunteer program that has been held in the past academic year (2023-2024). The program was dedicated to promoting service for others; promoted awareness of different issues/circumstances affecting different community populations; and provided opportunities for students to learn about their impacts on others.
Outstanding Social/Entertainment Program of the Year: Award given to a student-driven social/entertainment program that has been held in the past academic year (2023-2024). The program provided a safe and fun environment for attendees; allowed students the opportunity to connect with one another; and contributed positively to the Mizzou community. Student audience programs only.
