Tiger Pantry strives to assist, educate and empower faculty, staff and students facing food insecurity so that they can focus on the experiences uniquely available at Mizzou.

Caring for Columbia

Caring for Columbia is a one-day event led by students, for students who want to get involved with service in locally. Each spring, volunteers serve at sites throughout Columbia, from local non-profits to homes in the community’s underserved neighborhoods.

Tigers for a Cause is a weekly service event for students. Transportation is included.

Peer Notetakers

A program of the Disability Center, peer notetakers are student volunteers who take notes in their classes and share them with students with disabilities. Notetakers receive a small stipend.

Language Partners

Native English speakers are paired with non-native speakers to practice conversational English. This is a great opportunity to learn about another culture, make new connections, and assist fellow Tigers in their Mizzou journey.
